I got an eCard through Swagbucks (it did come with a barcode, just numbers) and he told me that he was unable to use it because he could not type anything into the cashier, that if the card did not have a code, he could not use it as a payment method. I had used that card in the past and the cashiers had been able to assist me.
For a manager, the lack of knowledge, training and preparation was way too much. This poorly trained and not very helpfull manager, works the TJ Maxx located at Costco (120 ST SW and 137 Ave)
